Christmas Fair

Yesterday the School Council held their annual Christmas Fair! There were stalls and activities galore! The children from reception to year 6 came along and enjoyed all of the festive fun!

Thank you to the school council for running stalls! Thank you to year 5/6 and staff for helping and thank you to all the children who visited! A big thank you to parents for cake donations and money given to the children! We made a cracking £301.66! This will go to buy some new books for the school library! The School Council will be buying some in the new year!

Thanks everyone!

Pennies for Pudsey

Today we set a challenge for Children in Need: cover Pudsey with pennies! We started this morning filling our Pudsey however we soon realised that one Pudsey would not be enough! Mr Taylor had to make two more Pudseys to fill!
This afternoon Reception, year 1 and 2 and year 3 and 4 visited the hall and covered Pudsey in their pennies! It was amazing to see how much the children had donated! Thank you so much for all of your donations, we haven’t got a total yet but when we do we’ll let you know!

Christmas Fair 2015

Well what a wonderful morning we had! The school council organised their traditional Christmas Fair! As usual, the school council and their Christmas helpers (including some lovely TA’s) ran stalls and activities for the rest of the school to enjoy! It was fantastic!

From cakes to books, toys to bric a brac, skittles to jumping, pin the nose on Santa to the wii on the big screen there was something for everyone! Even a couple of teddies to be won and some reindeer food!

Children from reception to year 6 came along and had some fun and we raised lots of money to help the school which is brilliant! The total is yet to be confirmed but we were nearing £400 which is an amazing  achievement.

The school council will be meeting after Christmas to discuss what they’d like to spend the money on. Thank you to all of the councillors and their friends for helping, it wouldn’t have happened without you!

Children in need 2015!

Today was Children in Need day and we had a fab day at school! We all came in our own clothes bringing our money for the charity with us! We enjoyed wearing our Pudsey ears for school today, there were lots of Pudseys and Blushes lurking around!

The children also had the chance to design their very own superhero Pudsey! They could use any existing superhero or they could create their own! The competition closes on Wednesday so get your entries in before then!

Thank you to everyone who supported this great cause!
