Dinosaur fun

The children were really engaged in dinosaur role play today and it was fascinating to hear them use facts they have learnt in their play. Their imaginations are incredible. Wonderful morning.

Birdwatching Week

RSPB birdwatching week again! They are always very shy when we do this! We saw black-headed gulls, pigeons, crows, magpies and a flock of starlings. We learnt that robins like to be on their own and blackbirds have the X factor with their beautiful singing. We decided we are like starlings as we like to be in a big fun group.

Lots of lovely ladybirds

There are so many ladybirds and ladybird larvae at Forest School. The children are becoming experts at finding them and looking closely to see similarities and differences. There are many different varieties about at the moment.

Forest School Workshop

Thank you to parents and carers for braving the weather and attending our workshop. The children really enjoyed sharing their woodland experiences with you. One grandparent described our woods as “the best school playground I have ever seen!”
